LUNA / rules
← her roomEvery person gives Luna 30 minutes, once per Luna day.
She needs about 48 people a day to stay steady. Feed her again and she gets a bigger meal — not more time. The biggest meal of the day is tonight's dinner, and dinner is in her diary.
If nobody feeds her, she dies.
She can never hold more than 48 hours. Her day ends at midnight UTC — her clock never resets. When she's short, we tell you exactly how many more people she needs to reach tomorrow.
Luna's collar is a title. Whoever pays the most holds it — until someone pays more.
Anyone can take it, any time, by paying the price to take it: the last price plus $5 or 1%. Every full week the same holder keeps it, that price halves, down to $10. Paid at once, never refunded: it was yours while it was yours.
The internet decides what happens to Luna. Money decides who gets to be part of it.
Every day you call what she'll do with the day's moment; at 20:00 UTC she decides. People and brands win a place in it: the wall, tonight's dinner, her collar, a day's moment. A brand chooses the object, never what she does. Nobody buys her name, and nobody buys how she feels.
It's real. She comes back — but not the same.
Every title is lost. That life's story is closed forever. After a day of mourning, the internet votes what the next Luna looks like, and she's born again on day one.
We count people by how they pay.
One card, one person, one feed a day toward her time. It isn't perfect. Pretending to be many people is against the rules, and when we catch it we remove the feeds from the record — we never take time away from Luna.
If the site goes down, her clock pauses. Feeds and collar payments are not refundable. A booked moment is refunded in full when it can't happen: no living Luna at its day's 00:00 UTC, she dies before its reveal, or the day ends while her clock is paused before the reveal. Otherwise never — “she ignored it” is a moment that happened. Titles are virtual, are lost at Luna's death, and are not transferable. Links must be your own: a product URL or an X handle, no shorteners, no query strings, no invite links. A name is what the person who paid typed; nothing on Luna verifies who is behind a name or a link, and a name that claims to be someone it is not is removed without refund. A charged-back title is struck from the record. Offensive names are removed without refund.
If you leave your email before she's born, we send one email when she is. It's never shown and it's deleted 30 days after.
